SAS vs SATA for LucidDB work

Francisco Reyes-3
Anyone done any tests comparing SAS/SCSi disks vs SATA for doing BI work?
Ordering some machines this year under the new budget and wondering if we
should try a SATA machine in RAID 0 with 4 drives(backup of all data in
other server).

Usually will have only 1 or 2 queries hitting the machine at any given time.
The money saved on the disks could throw towards RAM.
